USA Distributor for Aisling na nGael is Celtic Music USA

Review in The Irish America Magazine: March 2009

"Emma Kate Tobia is a classically trained soprano, and her CD "Aisling na nGael" (An Irish Dream) is a haunting fusion of sean-nós singing and choral and orchestral backing that includes the Cork Male Voice Choir and Chorus of Opera Cork. Aislingi means Dream Visions, and these songs are translations of 18th. century Irish verse from sources such as Cas Ambrán and the Veritas Hymnal, and including the powerful Glory O! to the Bold Fenian Men. Somewhat in the vein of the Celtic Women in Music sound, but with less reverb, this is a beautiful album perfect for the quieter side of St.Patricks festivities.

Album a 'Dream" come true for Tobia by Jason Mays January 2009 Aisling na nGael - or " An Irish Dream"may be Emma Kate Tobia's debut album, but it's evident from the very first track that she's no newcomer on the music scene. Her upbringing, infused as it was with diverse musical orientations, also explains her profound appreciation and love for traditional and classical Irish music. In the Meantime, while the dawning of a new year invites people to think about what lies ahead, the intricate arrangements and stunning vocals of Aisling na nGael serve as a reminder that " we need to look forward to the future while honouring the past"

Kinsale Soprano realises "Irish Dream" with new CD

It was an important evening for music because this was not just another CD. Recorded in St Multose Church, Kinsale, but also in the Aula Maxima UCC, it features Irish songs which were given quite unique and beautiful new arrangements magnificantly performed by Emma Kate Tobia with her lyrical and pure tone. The combination was stunning and deserved the widest audience. Lord Mayor of Cork Seán Martin expressed the hope that like Horslips and Riverdance, Emma Kate with Aisling na nGael would delight another generation of people who enjoyed Irish culture.

Out of the Blue, RTÉ

Derek Davis profiled her during a recent programme of Out of the Blue, and she can be heard to sing Róisín Dubh during the show.

"A Unique combination of Classical singing and traditional songs. This singer delights with her interpretation"

I really enjoyed this album, it was a fresh new approach to songs that I have grown up with. I especially liked her Maighdean Mara, and the big choral rendition of "Óró, 's é do Bheatha 'Bhaile".
